What I Like

I really like the plot of this donghua. It’s truly really good. A balance of thrilling action, ruthless scheming and touching drama.
The characters are interesting. I particularly like Zhi Shilang & Ayuya. This is the story of Dao Ma (the main protagonist) who was asked to escord Zhi Shilang to Chang’an. Zhi Shilang is a distinctive & intriguing character. He is the leader of Hua Yan rebellious group. While Ayuya is the daughter of Chief Mo from Hu people. She’s one of my favorite character in donghua. Watch this donghua to know why😊. There’s also Shu and Yan Ziniang who actually doesn’t have anything to do with all this mess, but decide to help.

My Other Comments

The animation is actually good enough, but I feel like this donghua story deserve a better animation. I probably will rate it Absolute Cinema if only the animation is more fluid and the action scenes better. But I guess to each their own. Other people might feel the animation is apt for this donghua since I have seen many people praise the action scenes.

This donghua is adapted from a famous manhua and there will be a movie version, starring Wu Jing, Nicholas Tse and Jet Li.
