- story about the stuggle and rise of the underdog
What I Like
- I love sports series and it’s kind of rare to see a sport donghua so when I found out about Left-hand Layup! it feels like I strike gold.
- The movement in the donghua feels realistic and natural, not exaggerated like in some other animation.
- I generally like the characters in this donghua, particularly the protagonist Xu Xingze and Yun Mo. I feel like although the competition is also a highlight, but the main point of this donghua is still relationship between the characters. I especially like the confrontation between Xu Xingze and Yun Mo.

My Other Comments
The protagonist want to be successful in basketball because he truly like to play basketball. Basically he just want to play and become better, to reach a new height with his friends. The antagonist on the other hand, play basketball because it’s the only thing that he good at. Basket is the only thing he has. He said that he doesn’t have any luxury to try other thing. That is why he do anything to win. But, is it okay to trample on person that has more privileged as you, just because they still has another option but you don’t? Obviously from morality point of view, this is still a wrong thing. Nevertheless, it still something worth pondering.
