Synopsis:

What I Like
- This donghua feature episodic story centering on ancient treaure/artifact & the person that has fate with those artifacts, before finally come together near the end of the donghua to reveal the story of the 2 main characters.
- Although there’s some story that I dislike because lack of logic, some other story are moving and can brought me to tears. I especially like episode 2, which I think was inspired by the story of Huo Qubing.
My Other Comments
- My feeling about YaShe is quite complicated. I initially love the story and feel that the premise is good. I thought this donghua is promising, at first. The protagonist also sufficiently interesting. Unfortunately, the flaws also easy to see and there’s one story that I don’t really tolerate.
- I think several story is formulaic. For example, story in episode 9 has the same pattern with episode 2. There’s other things that can be explore from episode 8 rather than making the girl come back to the man that has hurt her. But what I really dislike is episode 7. There is no logic whatsoever in that story, especially the murder part. As a fan of detective genre, I think they sacrifice the plot of murder investigation to focus on the romance. But the thing is, even the romance story has chaotic logic. Because the man voluntary disappear & let the woman take his identity. But later, the man comeback again in the form of a woman?? How??
- In episode 10, I still don’t understand why the White Snake take her revenge to Su Beilu, when he’s not the reincarnation of her husband.
